Aisha jamila Hinds has been an American actor for more than a decade. Her appearances have included The Shield as well as True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance with an acting role in 2003. First noticed in 2005 for her role as Anna which was featured on Assault on Precinct 13 Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the feminist activists Fannie Lou Hammer attracted the attention of the public. Hind was also acknowledged for her performance in the role she was playing as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's drama series set in the past called Underground.
